  7. Even more Mandelbrot and Julia sets in high resolution 1120x832x8
  8. generated by DMandel. This archive contains several series of
  9. increasing magnification up to the limit. The maximal possible
  10. magnification possible - which is reached by some of the pictures -
  11. is about 10^16, set by the double precision numbers. To give you
  12. an impression about the dimensions: The classical electron radius,
  13. hence the size an electron would have if it would be a classical
  14. particle, is about 10^-15m. Hence, the pixels on the screen are 
  15. about 1000 times smaller than an electron would be. (-: Needless
  16. to say that some of the pictures took several weeks of calculation
  17. time on my 68040/33.
